Léirigh do Thuairim/ Have Your Say

A Thuismitheoir/Chaomhnóir, a chara,

Táimid ag tabhairt cuiridh duit a bheith páirteach sa Suirbhé Bunscoile. Seo do dheis chun cúnamh a thabhairt todhchaí an tsoláthair bunscoile i do phobal féin a mhúnlú.

Sa suirbhé gearr ar líne iarrtar do thuairimí maidir le:

  • Cé acu ar cheart do do scoil a bheith ina scoil chomhoideachais nó ina scoil aonghnéis
  • Cé acu ar cheart do do scoil feidhmiú faoi phátrún sainchreidhmheach nó faoi phátrún il-sainchreidmheach
  • Cé acu ar cheart do do scoil oideachas a sholáthar go príomha trí Bhéarla nó trí Ghaeilge

Sonraí an tsuirbhé: Comhlánaigh ar líne é ag: www.gov.ie/primaryschoolsurvey

Tá tuilleadh eolais ar fáil anseo – molaimid do gach tuismitheoir scoile agus réamhscoile tacú leis an nGaeilge chun an t-éileamh is airde a léiriú.

Cabhróidh torthaí an tsuirbhé seo leis an Roinn Oideachais agus Óige pleanáil a dhéanamh maidir leis an mbealach a ndéanann sí oideachas ar leibhéal na bunscoile a sholáthar. Déanfar torthaí achoimre ardleibhéil tosaigh a fhoilsiú go luath in 2026. Sa chás go bhfuil tacaíocht shoiléir ó thuismitheoirí agus ó chaomhnóirí chun athrú a bhreithniú, cuirfear tús le próiseas cuimsitheach plé eile.

Tá do fhreagra faoi rún agus anaithnid, agus tá gach guth tábhachtach.

Glac cúpla nóiméad, le do thoil, chun an suirbhé a chomhlánú.

We are inviting you to take part in the Primary School Survey. This is your opportunity to help shape the future of primary school provision in your community.

The short online survey asks for your views on:

  • Whether your school should be co-educational or single-sex
  • Whether your school should operate under a denominational or multi-denominational patron
  • Whether your school should provide education primarily through the English language or Irish language

Survey details: Complete online at: www.gov.ie/primaryschoolsurvey

Further information is available here – we encourage all school and pre-school parents to support the Irish-language question on the survey to demonstrate the highest demand.

The results of the survey will help the Department of Education and Youth plan how it provides education at primary level. Initial high-level summary results will be published in early 2026. Where there is clear support from parents and guardians for change to be considered, a further process of inclusive dialogue will begin.

Your response is confidential and anonymous, and every voice matters.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey.

Go raibh maith agaibh
